There is always excitement when the Premier League fixtures are announced and Chelsea have been handed a cracker in their opening game of the campaign.
They will travel to Manchester United on Sunday, August 11 for their first match of the season, which is surely going to set the tone for the way that the campaign is going to go.
It's not the easiest end for the Blues as well with the penultimate match of the campaign away at Liverpool, with the Blues hoping that maybe they will be fighting for the Premier League title by then.
Over the Christmas period, the Blues are little bit closer to home. Playing away at Spurs on December 21 and then at Stamford Bridge against Southampton on Boxing Day.
A trip to Arsenal is currently scheduled for just two days later, however there is no doubt that a lot of the matches will be shuffled around for TV.
As for the London derbies, Chelsea get them under way with Crystal Palace at home on November 9, with West Ham the visitors to Stamford Bridge.
For the first time in Premier League history, the clubs will get a short mid-season break in February.
Over a two-week period, there will be only five matches on one weekend, with the other five games taking place the following weekend, ensuring that each team gets one week off.
