Nina Parker is a London based chef, culinary writer and director of her own food company, NINA.
She first cut her teeth as head chef at Jacob Kennedy's Gelupo at Bocca di Lupo. These days she can be found dishing up delicious Italian-inspired recipes to her 50,000-plus Instagram followers and writing cookbooks (her last, Nina Capri, is inspired by recipes from the Amalfi Coast).
“I think you’ve got to enjoy food but I am fussy about the quality," she says, “I believe that everything should be simple with good quality ingredients - that's an Italian philosophy.”
Mediterranean fare isn't Nina's only food inspiration - she also uses her online platform to give readers the inside track on where to find the best authentic food experiences in London and around the world. In London she loves Raw Duck ("a great cosy date night spot") and Dusty Knuckle Bakery ("they do life-changing sandwiches").
She also thinks the vegan craze is set to get bigger: "Gizzi Erskine's Filth is doing really well and I think we're going to see more fake meat burgers."
Along with hosting a 'Fast Food' series on her Instagram platform - where she interviews and cooks with foodies and stars including Ella Woodward (aka Deliciously Ella) and Fearne Cotton - Nina is now gearing up for a cultinary trip to Mexico and the release of cookbook number three.
