Mayor Johnson revealed in passing during budget committee this morning that Tim Parker, the man who was going to "run the place" for him, has resigned from the TfL board, presumably to spend more time sacking people in Australia or wherever he's passing his time these days. I was told a while ago that he'd made some useful contributions to the cost-cutting exercise Boris has set in train, but otherwise he leaves barely a trace.
