Parents across Scotland have been testing out their little ones' will power - or lack of - by challenging them not to eat sweets put in front of them while secretly recording.
But one clever girl was a couple of steps ahead of her scheming mum in a hilarious clip of the viral ' temptation challenge.'
Cheryl Silvester leaves a bag of chocolate bites in front of four-year-old Evie, but right from the off you can tell she's got her mum rumbled.
Cheryl, from Glasgow, tells her: "Right Evie, I'm gonna put this chocolate down here in front of you.
"You’re not allowed to eat any until I come back, is that alright? Do you understand that? I’m just going to the toilet and I’ll be back in a wee second.”
As she leaves the room, Evie - with a cheeky grin - comes up to the 'hidden' camera and says: "I know I'm being filmed but I’m not going to eat one."
The youngster then sits mischievously as she waits for Cheryl to come back before proudly letting her mum know she didn't have a single bite.
