Cheeky Glasgow teen tweets President Joe Biden asking to take granddaughter out for a Nandos

The urban dictionary's definition of the word 'chancer' notes that it means "to push one's luck, to stay in the game a wee bit too long or to believe one is above repute" - and it's pretty accurate one if you ask us.

Yet a more succinct explanation of the meaning behind 'chancer' has cropped up online in the form of one gallus Glaswegian's attempt to score himself a lumber - with the granddaughter of the newly-inaugurated US president Joe Biden no less.

The cheeky teenager tweeted: "Dear Joe Biden. Hello my name is Michael Armstrong and I am a 16-year-old who lives in Glasgow, I was wondering if your granddaughter Natalie has snapchat because I think she is very stunning and I would love to treat her to a Nandos. Lots of love. Mike from Twitter."

He then follows it up with: "PS I can do a really funny Marge Simpson impression".

Speaking of Biden, we reported yesterday how his special climate envoy announced that "the road to Glasgow begins here" in the wake of the President's move to reinstate the US to the Paris climate agreement just hours after being sworn in to office.

And with the COP26 summit being held here in November, maybe the gallus youngster might even get the chance to ask the President himself if he can take his granddaugther out for a Nandos...

That's if of course the President doesn't take time out of his busy schedule to reply to the youngster's tweet!
