The family of a boy who has been given a year to live has described him as a "cheeky" three-year-old who always smiles.
In October last year, Eli's aunty Lucy Sapple noticed that his eye had started to turn slightly inward, and after taking him to the opticians he was given glasses. Eli was booked in for an MRI scan but the appointment kept getting rearranged.
Eli from Wallasey finally had his MRI earlier this year but after getting the results back last Monday, Lucy was given the devastating news that he had an inoperable brain tumour and had one year to live.

Family friend Kinsay Smith told the ECHO: "We got the results back on Monday and we were hoping it would be low grade but it ended up being terminal. He will have to go through chemo but it won't save him, it will just give him a little bit more time with us.
"You can't even tell there is anything wrong with him, he just keeps smiling. Normally when someone has a brain tumor you can tell but he is so happy and funny".
Kinsay, 39, said that the family is now trying to make as many memories as they can with Eli and that his aunt Lucy, who is his primary caregiver is "devastated" by the news. Kinsay has set up a GoFundMe to help the family through this difficult time.
Kinsay a mother-of-five said: "Everyone is shocked and it was not what people were expecting but we prepared ourselves that it would not be good.
"He is just a cheeky three-year-old who can be really quiet at times and he makes everyone smile. We want to create some memories with him knowing he is on borrowed time."
