Gardai managed to clock a dangerous driver doing almost twice the speed limit on a tiny road in Dublin this morning.
Officers part of the Policing Unit in Terenure conducting checkpoints in the area spotted the car on their speed gun.
The driver was the fastest of five who were stopped at Harold's Grange Road, with this driver speeding at a whopping 85km/h in a 50km/h zone.
All five drivers have been charged by Gardai according to a spokesman.
He said: "Terenure Roads Policing Unit conducted a speeding checkpoint at Harold's Grange Road.
"Five vehicles were stopped for speeding, with the fastest going 85 kph in a 50 kph zone."
He added: "Fixed Charge Penalty Notices were issued to all."
