All five drivers have been charged by Gardai according to a spokesman.

He said: "Terenure Roads Policing Unit conducted a speeding checkpoint at Harold's Grange Road.

"Five vehicles were stopped for speeding, with the fastest going 85 kph in a 50 kph zone."

He added: "Fixed Charge Penalty Notices were issued to all."
