Lambton Lucky Lotteries players are being urged to check their tickets with a $4.66 million jackpot prize won at a local newsagents.
The elusive player won the Jackpot Prize of $4.66 million in Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw 10416, drawn on Tuesday, with a ticket bought at Lambton Nextra.
But the ticket is unregistered, so officials from The Lott have no way of contacting the winner to break the news and must wait for them to come forward to claim their prize.
Lambton Nextraowner Trish Firth said she couldn't be happier for her winner and couldn't wait for them to discover the news.
"How exciting," she said. "This is the biggest prize we've sold, so we're ecstatic.
"The win is great for us, the community and the winner, especially in times like these."
The Lott spokesperson Ally Ramsamy said she was eager to unite the winner with their multi-million-dollar prize.
"We're urging all players who purchased a Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot ticket from Lambton Nextra to check their tickets today," she said.
"Imagine how exciting it would be to realise you've just become a multi-millionaire!
"Some of our previous winners have used their Jackpot prizes to retire from work early, buy their dream home, or travel around Australia via caravan.
"Make sure you check your ticket, which could be in your wallet, handbag, fridge door or car glovebox because the winner could be you and you could be planning what to do with your prize too!
If you discover you are holding the winning ticket contact The Lott on 131 868 to begin the process of claiming your prize.
Players can check their tickets online, on The Lott app or in-store.
