No matter how bad your day is, this video should make it better. Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker Ryan Shazier shared this Instagram video of him racing his son at the team’s indoor practice facility and it might be the best video you’ll see all week.
Shazier has shown steady improvement since his back injury in December of 2017. Seeing him up and running, even if it’s just a game with his son, is an awesome sight. When Shazier was injured against the Cincinnati Bengals, it would have been easy to just give up and assume his career was over, but Shazier has never given up.
There’s no way to know if Shazier will ever play football again. The odds are against it, but considering everything he’s done to this point, can you really bet against him? Either way, Shazier is going to be part of the team again this season in some capacity and his story continues to inspire so many.
