We're living through strange times at the moment, and with the country in Covid-19 lockdown there's a significant degree of uncertainty facing the property market.
However properties are still going up for sale each and every day across Edinburgh and the Lothians.
And this town centre flat in Bathgate certainly grabbed our attention when it hit the market on Thursday – for at a fixed price of £50,000 it's one of the cheapest properties in the whole of West Lothian.
Martin & Co, who are selling the place, say it could be ideal for investment buyers and comes with "great transport links", located on Hopetoun Street not a million miles from the A89 and Bathgate train station.
What about the place itself?
Well it probably needs a bit of work, but at a fixed price of £50k that's probably to be expected.
It's got one bedroom, one bathroom, a shower room, and an open-plan kitchen and lounge area. Carpets and flooring has been newly fitted and windows are double-glazed.
Of the kitchen and lounge area, Martin & Co say: "The kitchen area is fitted with white and oak units and newly fitted worktops placed. Tiled splashbacks. Space for cooker, fridge/freezer and washing machine. Newly fitted vinyl flooring in the kitchen, a new carpet in the lounge area. The lounge area has ample space for dining."
