Check out this stunning new anamorphic mural at Bushy Park Bandstand in Terenure

A stunning new anamorphic mural has appeared at the Bushy Park Bandstand.

The project, named “Please Stand By”, is a collaboration between Dublin art group Subset and Bushy Park in Terenure.

A Subset spokesperson said: “‘Please Stand By’ is inspired by the unfortunate fact [Bushy Park Bandstand] has been unused for decades.

“Using the medium of painted artwork we will create a site-specific, anamorphic installation informed by the historical and physical characteristics of the landmark.

“There is huge potential for improving the visual environment within our congregation spaces through utilising canvases for large scale artworks.

“This provides a platform to express and cultivate Irish creativity in conjunction with nature, heritage and culture.”

The gorgeous new mural will be available to view all summer.
