Check out these highlights of new Broncos OLB Malik Reed

After selecting six players in the 2019 NFL draft, the Denver Broncos filled their 90-man offseason roster by agreeing to terms with 16 undrafted free agents. One of the most notable UDFAs that signed with the team is Nevada edge defender Malik Reed.

Check out Reed’s highlights from his time at Nevada below:

Reed (6-2, 235 pounds) was a defensive playmaker during his time with the Wolfpack, totaling 77 tackles (including 15.5 tackles for losses), eight sacks, one fumble recovery for a touchdown and four forced fumbles as a senior.

He earned first-team All-Mountain West honors in 2018 and was named Nevada’s co-MVP. During his four years with the school, Reed racked up 203 tackles (including 38.5 tackles for losses), 22 sacks and 11 forced fumbles.

After the Broncos opted not to re-sign Shaq Barrett and Shane Ray during free agency, the team lacked depth at outside linebacker. Reed has a good chance to make the 53-man roster as a rotational pass rusher with Jeff Holland behind starters Von Miller and Bradley Chubb.

Reed is expected to report for the start of rookie minicamp in May.
