Check out Nando's amazing new sides and salads

One of the country's biggest restaurant chains is launching a whole new menu of salads and sides.

Nando's, which has restaurants across Bristol including at Cabot Circus and Cribbs Causeway, is to unveil more options for its customers, with the new dishes landing in restaurants on May 14.

Claiming it is for customers seeking a more balanced, lighter option alongside their traditional Nando’s favourites, the chain's new additions include tangy Saucy Spinach, Grains n’ Greens; Roasted Sweet Potato & Butternut Squash; and Long Stem Broccoli.

We ordered secret menu items from McDonald's, KFC, Subway and Burger King 

In addition, Nando’s is also launching new salad options of watermelon and feta salad.

Customers can get the three salads with tis trademark Peri Peri chicken breast or two thighs added to them.

Watermelon Slices, Sweet Potato & Butternut Squash Chunks and Long Stem Broccoli will also be added to the children’s Nandino menu.

Watermelon & Feta Salad

A mouth-watering combination of chargrilled slices of watermelon and pickled watermelon chunks served on a bed of baby spinach with black olives, cucumber and a generous sprinkling of feta.

Grains ‘n Greens

A hearty helping of mixed grains, beans and corn, served on a bed of baby spinach and topped with long stem broccoli.

House Salad

Cos lettuce tossed with crunchy cucumber and mixed baby plum tomatoes, topped with olives and mixed chargrilled peppers.

Baby spinach cooked in a spicy tomato and coconut sauce with chickpeas.
