Whenever the Rams get on the field for their first practice of 2020, they’ll be wearing some new threads. The team released completely redesigned uniforms this offseason, paired with a new helmet, new logos and brighter colors across the board.
Players haven’t been allowed inside the team’s facility yet, so photos of them wearing the new uniforms have been tough to come by. However, Goff shared a photo of himself in the Rams’ shiny new helmet Monday in advance of training camp.
It’s not an up-close shot, but it’s the first time we’ve seen Goff wearing the revamped horns.
The blue is clearly brighter than before, as the team replaced navy with royal. Under the lights of SoFi Stadium, the color is really going to pop, especially now that it matches the jersey color.
Goff and the rest of the Rams won’t be on the field together for practice for at least a week, but it’s exciting to see the new helmet in action – even if it’s just the quarterback throwing on his own.
