Of course, it's always a good thing to be a savvy shopper and hunt for bargains where you can.

If you're always on the look out for discounts, then you ought to know about Amazon's outlet page the Mirror reports.

The online retailer has a section of its website where shoppers can save money on thousands of clearance items across all ranges.

We've had a look for ourselves and the items range from electronics to beauty, with discounts of up to 79% available on many items.

To make things easier, the outlet section is split into different categories - such as Home & Furniture, Books, Fashion and much more.

There are also discount sections, including "10% off or more", "25% off or more" and "50% off or more", to help shoppers find the best offers.

A delivery charge may still apply on outlet items, but those who are signed up to Amazon Prime can get their haul sent for free. The price of shipping for non-members starts from £2.99.

Bargain hunters can also use price comparison websites like PriceSpy to find out if they are getting the best deal.
