Megan Kerrigan Byron, the wife of Astronomer CEO Andy Byron, has reportedly called out her husband in a very public way. She did this on social media after a viral “kiss cam” moment at a Coldplay concert appeared to reveal him in what many believe was an affair with his company’s HR chief, Kristin Cabot.
Following the widely shared incident, Megan Kerrigan first removed the last name “Byron” from her Facebook profile before eventually deactivating her account entirely. As found by Newsweek, people on social media quickly noticed this move, and many see it as a clear statement from her as the scandal continues to unfold.
The drama started when the “kiss cam” at a Coldplay concert in Boston showed Byron and Cabot in what looked like a close and intimate moment. As the camera focused on them, both seemed embarrassed—Byron tried to duck out of view, while Cabot covered her face. Coldplay’s lead singer, Chris Martin, even joked, “Either they’re having an affair or they’re very shy,” which only made the online rumors spread even faster.
CEO caught cheating may be dealing with a divorce soon
The video blew up online, and soon people figured out that Byron was the CEO of Astronomer and Cabot was the company’s Chief People Officer (the head of HR). Many are now questioning the ethics of a CEO possibly having an affair with the HR leader of the same company, sparking anger and debates about workplace behavior and toxic company culture.
Megan Kerrigan made a strong statement without saying a word, which is more than the two involved have done. So far, neither Andy Byron nor Kristin Cabot has publicly addressed the situation.

This isn’t the first time a concert has gotten negative attention, as Kanye has dealt with recently. However, it’s good that Coldplay didn’t do anything to anger the band’s fans.
Byron has reportedly shut down his LinkedIn account, while old posts from Cabot’s LinkedIn, including one where she bragged about her ability to “win trust with employees of all levels, from CEOs to managers to assistants,” have been dug up and are now being heavily criticized. Astronomer, the tech company involved, has also stayed quiet, disabling comments on its social media accounts.
