There are three major supermarkets that are cheaper to buy your Christmas Dinner ingredients from than than Aldi or Lidl.
That's according to a new study by discount site Savoo, which took the same shopping list to the nine biggest supermarket chains then compared costs.
Asda was found to be cheapest - coming in at less than half the price of rivals like Waitrose and Marks & Spencer.
After Asda, Sainsbury's was the surpising result for the second-cheapest place to shop, followed by Iceland, Lidl and Aldi.
Savoo managing director Ed Fleming said: "It’s crucial for families to consider all their outgoings in the weeks building up to the 25th December, with food being a key element."

The list of essential ingredients includes all you'd need for a full turkey roast, including stuffing, gravy, potatoes, three sides and pigs in blankets too.
Desert was a Christmas pudding, but there were no drinks included unless you count the wine for the gravy.
For people willing to shop at more than one supermarket, there are even bigger savings to be made.

However, there's a chance by waiting to pick up your veg you could save even more - with supermarkets traditionally competing to offer the cheapest "festive 5".
Last year the price war saw Aldi and Lidl selling sprouts, cabbage, parsnips, carrots and potatoes for just 15p a bag.
