Cheapest supermarket for Christmas dinner essentials and where to get your turkey and beef

The cost of living is rising and because of this, people are trying to cut down on how much they spend. But with Christmas on the horizon, many people will now be budgeting for December 25 from gifts to decorations and most importantly, the food.

Christmas dinner is different for everyone whether you have it at 3pm or 6pm and whether you opt for Beef, Turkey or another type of meat - maybe you even go meat-free. Regardless of what you buy, it can be expensive and now more that ever, finding the cheapest way to make your Christmas dinner is important. Whilst some items can be cheap individually, it all adds up.

So to help you out, we've decided to take a look at some supermarkets and let you know how much each shop would cost you to make the perfect meal. Here's what we found.

Looking at some of the cheapest supermarkets, we found that with the current prices at the time of writing, Morrisons came in first place if you want to grab yourself Beef this festive season with Asda coming at a close second at just 63p more expensive.

Meanwhile for those after a Turkey, the cheapest supermarket coming in at £20.06 was Aldi.

The jump in price between the cheapest and most expensive stands at £12.83 . You can see the list from cheapest to most expensive below.
