Cheapest last-minute Dublin Airport getaways before Storm Lorenzo wreaks havoc across Ireland

Storm Lorenzo is set to wreak havoc across Ireland tonight, with winds of up to 130km/h expected in places.

And many will now be looking to a last-ditch getaway as a way to escape the chaos, as the vortex moves in later today and tomorrow.

So here is a list of the cheapest last-minute flights to a variety of European destinations tonight.

A trip from Dublin to Paris with Aer Lingus will set you back a mere €211 - but you'll have to be quick, as the flight 6.35pm this evening.

Meanwhile a seat on the 8.45pm flight from Dublin to Copenhagen with KLM is available from just €141 one-way.

Another KLM flight that might take your fancy is the €141 trip to Vienna in Austria, which takes off from Dublin at 8.45pm.

And if that is all a bit too short notice, there are a number of last-minute weekend trips up for grabs.

One of the cheapest Friday to Monday return flights from Dublin is to Brussels with Ryanair available for €101, flying out on Friday evening and returning on Monday.

Another option is a €90 return flight to Frankfurt with Lufthansa, leaving bright and early tomorrow morning.

A trip to Vienna is another tempting alternative with Laudamotion offering a return flight for just €152 departing Dublin tomorrow evening and returning Monday morning.
