Drivers continue to struggle with the cost of rising fuel prices nationwide, with both petrol and diesel increasing in costs.
Minister for Transport Eamon Ryan recently came under fire for his ‘tone deaf’ comments after suggesting drivers should contact their social welfare office if they were having issues paying for their petrol bill.
The increase in costs, fuelled largely by Russia’s invasion of Ukraine and subsequent EU sanctions, affects the majority of commuters across Europe.
