New low-cost airline Scoot has announced it will introduce the first non-stop flights between London’s Gatwick Airport and Suvarnabhumi Airport in Bangkok.
The low-cost subsidiary of Singapore Airlines will commence services from December 16, 2021, followed by three-time weekly scheduled seasonal services from March 2022.
All flights will be operated by Scoot’s wide-body Boeing 787 Dreamliners offering both Economy and ScootPlus cabins, sporting features such as inflight Wi-Fi and the ability to upgrade to Scoot Plus or to Scoot-in-Silence – Scoot’s offering of a quiet-zone.
To celebrate the launch, Scoot has released attractive fares to Bangkok starting from £170 one-way on Economy, inclusive of taxes.
Scoot chief executive Campbell Wilson said, “The progressive relaxation of border restrictions presents new opportunities for airlines and travellers alike.
