Lisbon has long been a firm favourite with holidaymakers after cheap city breaks packed with culture, history, and a brilliant nightlife.

After all, the Portuguese capital boasts heaps of cheap hotels for those on a budget, and you rarely have to compromise on factors such as a handy location or brilliant views.
