Cheap Blackpool breaks are going from £12.25pp a night including summer holiday dates

If you're considering a last-minute seaside escape now that staycations in England are back on the cards, you may want to check out Wowcher's latest deal.

That's because the discounts website currently has cheap two-night stays in Blackpool going from £12.25pp whether you're after somewhere in the next few weeks, or looking for a fun break during the summer holiday dates.

There are two-night breaks for two people from £49 (£12.25pp a night), or for three people from £99 (£16.50pp a night), which includes a stay at The Lanes Hotel and a packed lunch for every day of your stay.

The hotel boasts a brilliant location too in the town centre, with the seafront and attractions like Blackpool Tower less than a 10-minute walk away.

You can already book the Wowcher deal online for stays between May 17 and October 31, so there's ample opportunity to book in your break.

It is worth noting that the stays are subject to availability, so you may need to be a little flexible with your dates in case the hotel is full for your first choice.

You can also find full details on Wowcher's refund policy on the deal listing in the 'fine print' section.

If you're looking for a slightly longer break, there are also three-night breaks from £85 for two people, or £139 for three people.

Don't be disheartened if this particular deal doesn't quite work for you. For a start, Wowcher has plenty more discounted Blackpool minbreaks as well as heaps of cheap UK seaside holidays, whether you're tied to the school holidays or looking to travel off season.

Under the current rules in England, self-contained accommodation has reopened (you can only travel with members of your own household or support bubble), with hotels and other accommodation set to reopen from May 17 as part of the next phase of the lockdown roadmap.
