What Ralph Hasenhuttl has said about Che Adams's future

Che Adams will not be leaving Southampton for Leeds United or any other clubs this month according to his current boss.

Saints manager Ralph Hasenhuttl spoke about his striker’s future and effectively ruled out any exit for a striker who arrived at St Mary’s Stadium for £15m in the summer.

Adams has only made eight Premier League starts for Southampton this term and is yet to score in all of 2019/20.

The Whites are reportedly one of several outfits interested in the former Birmingham City man, especially in light of Eddie Nketiah’s Arsenal return.

“I cannot consider that I loan him out because I need every player, especially in the attacking position, we don’t have that many,” said Hasenhuttl.

“I know he is not so happy at the moment because he didn’t play so often and did not score, but we know what we have with him and we know we need him in the second half of the season.”
