Che Adams 'headed' for cut-price Southampton January transfer exit

Che Adams is reportedly set to leave Southampton this month.

The Scotland international is believed to be attracting interest as the Championship promotion hopefuls look to sell the striker for a cut-price deal in January.

Sky Sports reports that three Premier League clubs are seriously looking at the 27-year-old.

He's scored six goals this season and assisted his teammates on two occasions. He's made just 10 starts for the club this term.

The forward's most recent goal came in Saints' 4-0 win in the FA Cup over Walsall.

Adams is out of contract in the summer, so this month signals the last chance Southampton will get to recoup some money for the former Birmingham City man.

He of course played in the Premier League for the St Mary's club, and the report states he's keen to test himself in the top flight once again.

Wolves and Everton have previously been credited as holding an interest in Adams.

Southampton would feel comfortable with Adams leaving as Russell Martin has Adam Armstrong, Sekou Mara and Carlos Alcatraz in his squad who can all lead the attack.

Meanwhile, Sam Lammers is set to leave Rangers before the end of the week.

The Dutchman is believed to be close to joining FC Utrecht on loan.

A deal is said to be edging towards competition and could be officially announced within the next 48 hours, with the 26-year-old returning to his homeland.

The attacking midfielder joined the Ibrox club in the summer under Michael Beale. Rangers forked out £3.5m for the Atalanta player, as he signed on a four-year deal.

However, he has failed to make an impression in Glasgow, a similar story to some of Beale's other summer recruits. The player's game time has become even more limited under Philippe Clement since the Belgian's arrival in early October.
