Chauncey Billups compares Cam Reddish to Thunder’s Paul George

Cam Reddish has been one of the more polarizing players among those in the 2019 NBA Draft. He did not live up to the hype as a freshman at Duke while playing alongside No. 1 overall pick in the 2019 NBA Draft and New Orleans Orleans Pelicans forward Zion Williamson, and No. 3 overall pick and New York Knicks forward RJ Barrett.

However, Reddish has some serious upside. It’s led to comparisons to Oklahoma City Thunder superstar Paul George, who also happens to be up for 2019 MVP and Defensive Player of the year. After the Atlanta Hawks selected Reddish at No. 10, ESPN’s Chauncey Billups brought up the comparison to George:

Big-time upside. I’m thinking Paul George right here. Can put it on the floor. Can shoot the three-ball. Competes defensively. … You’d like to see him play every single night, but there’s some Paul George inside of Cam Reddish.

Certainly, high praise from the accomplished Billups.
