Then the news that the BBC are looking for chatty people to take part in the second series of the show Mirror Mirror could be right up your street.
The show sees hidden cameras placed behind hairdresser mirrors to capture candid chats between stylists and customers - and Edinburgh Live reports that they are now looking for members of the public to take part.
An advertisement for the show reads: "Do you love a gossip and a joke, telling stories and chewin' the fat about the state of the world today, then we want to hear from you.
"We are looking for REAL people with good chat, to take party in the Second series of BBC's 'Mirror Mirror'.
"If having your haircut whilst gossiping with the hairdresser is something that sounds appealing then get in touch to find out more."
