So we gamesblog writers and editors have put our heads together and have decided that we would like to give you all a space in which to wax lyrical about anything and everything that takes your fancy in the world of gaming. It's obvious that there are a few gamesblog celebrities emerging and lest we (you) step on your (our) toes, we would like to offer the following proposition which should meet everyone's approval:
1. We post a daily Chatterbox post which allows you to write about off-topic elements, things you find interesting and other game-related chit chat that we've not covered, but you feel should be.
2. Commentary for the posts which Greg, Keith or I publish remains appropriate and relevant to that topic or is pertinent to related topics which spin off.
3. As with all of The Guardian's blogs, comments must remain clean, decent and respectful.
We feel it's important that you have a voice on this blog, but would also like to encourage debates about what we post, from yourselves and from people who are not regulars and may feel intimidated by the tight-knit community which has evolved.
