Chatham homes burglarized: police

Police are asking Chatham residents to be on alert after a series of burglaries were reported recently in the South Side neighborhood.

In each of the four incidents, someone broke into a home and stole property from inside, including televisions, gaming consoles and other items, Chicago police said.

The burglaries happened in the daytime hours between June 30 and July 14 in:

· The 400 block of East 82^nd Street;

· The 8100 block of South Dobson Avenue;

· The 8100 block of South Eberhart Avenue; and

· The 8200 block of South Drexel Avenue.

No description of any suspects was provided.
