ChatGPT is likely to be getting a new built-in prompt library feature. If we go by the latest findings shared by X user Tibor Blaho, the company is second time working on a feature like prompt library. The feature, which seems to be under internal testing, could soon allow us to create, manage, and quickly reuse prompts directly within the ChatGPT workspace.

As per the shared screenshots, the new feature will include sections labelled “All in workspace” and “My prompts.” It will allow you to save sequences of text, essentially reusable prompts that can be added instantly to any conversation. Users will be able to type “/**” in ChatGPT to browse and insert their saved prompts.
Interestingly, OpenAI also seems to be working on prompt variables and an auto-enable tools/sources option. This means you could predefine certain elements (like file inputs, tone, or context) and have ChatGPT automatically activate the right tools, like browsing or code interpreters whenever those prompts are used.
While the company hasn’t officially announced this feature yet, it looks like OpenAI is gearing up to make prompt creation and reuse much easier, especially for power users and teams who rely on structured workflows.
Though on Geekflare Connect we already have a Prompt Library that gives users access to hundreds of curated prompts or create and share private ones with their team. The platform already supports all major models from OpenAI, Gemini, and Perplexity, and also includes multi-chat support, live web access, and more, which makes it a unified space for managing all your AI workflows.
