OpenAI’s most affordable ChatGPT Go plan is now available in Indonesia. It is priced at IDR 75,000 per month, which is approximately $4.50. Indonesia has become the second country to receive this plan after its successful rollout in India, where user adoption more than doubled within a month of its introduction.
ChatGPT Go Plan Details
The ChatGPT Go plan offers improved access to ChatGPT’s features at a budget-friendly price point. It comes with:
- Increased usage limits, including more messages, larger file uploads, and expanded image generation capabilities.
- Advanced data analysis tools for deeper insights.
- Longer memory, allowing for more personalized and context-aware responses.
- Access across multiple platforms, including web, mobile (iOS & Android), and desktop (macOS & Windows)
This plan serves as a middle ground between the free version and the premium $20/month ChatGPT Plus subscription, targeting users who want more features without the higher cost.
Advancements in Voice Technology
The AI giant is also improving its voice capabilities. According to the recent notes, the company has improved the quality and latency of responses in its Advanced Voice feature, which is now powered by the GPT-4o mini model. This upgrade aims to provide more natural and responsive voice interactions for users across various platforms.
Exploring Hardware Products
Interestingly, OpenAI is developing some hardware products. If we go by some recent reports, the company is working on a speaker-like device, but without a display, smart glasses, a digital voice recorder, and a wearable pin. These devices are said to arrive by late 2026 or in early 2027.
While these hardware are still in the early stages, the development of these products indicates that OpenAI wants to compete in the consumer technology space, and challenge the established players like Apple and Google.
