ChatGPT Adds Canva, Notion, and HubSpot Integrations for Pro Users

OpenAI has quietly rolled out some integrations for ChatGPT Pro users. According to recent release notes, Pro users outside of the European Economic Area (EEA), Switzerland, and the UK can now connect ChatGPT with Canva and Notion. It means users can directly interact with content from these platforms within ChatGPT using chat search and deep research tools.

Along with that, the company is also introducing HubSpot and custom connector support for Pro users, as part of its Managed Connector Platform (MCP). These features allow users to access and work with HubSpot data inside ChatGPT through chat search, making it easier to extract insights, summaries, or content without switching platforms.

The custom connector support is particularly useful for someone who works with specialised or internal tools, allowing them to create tailored integrations and pull relevant data into ChatGPT. Like the Canva and Notion features, these options are currently limited to regions outside of the EEA, Switzerland, and the UK. The additions follow earlier integrations with Google Drive, Microsoft OneDrive, and other productivity tools that help you streamline tasks within the chatbot interface.

However, it seems like the main focus at the moment is on releasing its next flagship GPT-5 model. CEO Sam Altman recently confirmed that GPT-5 is “coming soon”, and multiple reports suggest a launch could happen in early to mid-August 2025. He also hinted at some of the model’s capabilities in a podcast interview.

GPT-5 is reportedly under final internal evaluations and safety testing. It is expected to include massive upgrades in factual accuracy, multimodal capabilities (like images and audio), and user-level customization. There’s also speculation about smaller variants, such as “mini” and “nano” versions, that could be rolled out via API to support specific use cases.

While OpenAI hasn’t made an official announcement, these developments signal that the next-generation model may soon become part of the broader ChatGPT ecosystem.
