Chatelhearult Primary School crowned quiz champs

The Rotary Club of Hamilton’s annual primary schools quiz competition has taken place.

Held within St John’s Primary on Tuesday, May 21, seven teams participated.

As usual, the competitors and supporters were enthusiastic and the competition closely contested.

The quiz consisted of ten rounds of six questions covering varying topics – with some of the questions even troubling the adult spectators!

After a keenly-fought contest, Chatelherault Primary came out as winners, with St John’s being named as runners-up. The winning team was presented with gift vouchers, a certificate and a shield by club president Arthur Barrie.

The other schools were Beckford, Our Lady and St Anne’s, St Mark’s, St Mary’s and Woodhead.
