Chase Edmonds, Larry Fitzgerald, Haason Reddick DNPs on 1st injury report of Week 16

The Arizona Cardinals did not hold a practice on Tuesday but released their first injury report of the week. They take on the San Francisco 49ers on Saturday,

While they did not hold practice, their injury report was an estimation of participation had they held practice. Seven players would not have practiced and another three would have been limited.

Linebacker Dennis Gardeck (knee) and tight end Maxx Williams (ankle) would not have practiced on Tuesday. Head coach Kliff Kingsbury said Williams is day-to-day and Gardeck will be a game-time decision for Saturday’s game. Both exited Sunday’s game with injuries. The other new injury was tight end Darrell Daniels (hamstring).

Linebacker Haason Reddick (shoulder) left the game briefly on Sunday. He would not have practiced on Tuesday, and receiver Larry Fitzgerald was listed as a DNP with a groin injury. Running back Chase Edmonds was questionable Sunday but played through an ankle injury. He was listed as a DNP with both an ankle and knee.

Cornerback Dre Kirkpatrick, who has dealt with a number of leg injuries but has played through almost all of them, was listed with hamstring and calf injuries.

Guard Justin Pugh (calf), who, according to Kingsbury, “is feeling better,”  would have been limited. So would have linebacker Kylie Fitts (hamstring), who missed Sunday’s game. Safety Jalen Thompson (ankle) also would have been limited, suggesting that perhaps he might be able to play on Sunday.
