After attending best friend Kritida Mistry’s wedding last month, Charu had yet another reason to celebrate. The actress attended sister-in-law Monika’s ‘godh bharai’ where the rest of her family was also present. Charu shares a warm bond with her brother Chetan and Monika with whom she spent some precious time while she was going through a separation from husband Rajeev Sen.
In her vlog, Charu shared the looks of all her family members. Her mother, Neelam Asopa, wore a lovely red saree for the special occasion, and her father, Ashok Kumar, sported a white kurta. Charu’s sister Chintan, who got married last year, looked lovely in a red saree, too. Charu was pretty a printed anarkali suit.
Charu’s daughter Ziana Sen also wore a beautiful red suit and had quite a fun time surrounded by her loving grandparents, uncle, and aunts. Sharing the photos, Charu joyfully wrote, “Our family is about to get bigger and cuter.” She shared another set of photos where the Asopa family is seen posing happily for the camera.
Charu recently celebrated her birthday with estranged husband Rajeev Sen. The actress said that it was a casual lunch outing at a mall but one she enjoyed quite a bit with Ziana and him. Rajeev, who shares a cordial relationship with Charu now, surprised her with a cake. He also hugged and kissed her after she cut the cake. Their vlogs celebrating the special day made fans request them to reunite.
However, in January, Charu ruled out any chances of reconciliation between them. After she attended Rajeev’s cousin’s wedding in Kolkata, Charu told BT that this in no way meant they were coming back together. She said, “We haven’t revoked our decision of separation. We are through with the counselling and are on a six-month cooling-off period till June.”
