Charu Asopa dances to 'Besharam Rang' from Pathaan; netizens slam her clothes and call her 'Sasti Deepika'

Charu Asopa is quite active on Instagram and loves to make reels. The actress posted a new video on Sunday wherein she can be seen grooving to 'Besharam Rang' from Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone's upcoming movie Pathaan. However, her costumes and moves haven't been received well by the audience.

In the video, Charu can be seen sporting body-hugging pink athleisure. She is seen dancing to the peppy number from the film. Even her daughter Ziana joins her in the end. The two look happy to be matching steps.

Charu captioned the reel, "I am not the one who follows trends but this song I really loved. Loved the whole vibe of the song and tripping on the lyrics besharam rang #besharamrang"

Netizens were not impressed with the new reel. They took to the comments section. One called her 'Sasti Deepika', there's another who felt Deepika's moves were sexy and hers 'vulgar'.

Another schooled her for not wearing mom appropriate clothes.

The user wrote, "We should never body shame someone but you my dear you are a mom atleast think twice before wearing something. Don't compare yourself to Deepika. Deepika is Deepika and you are charu. Both of you are poles apart. Be your own personality."

A netizen commented, "Shee... Kitna ganda dance hain kapde to dhang se wear karo...acche kapde pehn ne se bhi industry main kaam milte hain aise kitne examples hain (The dance is bad, wear proper clothes at least, even wearing nice clothes will fetch you work in the industry, there are many examples). So wear proper clothes."

Meanwhile, Charu, who's going through a divorce from Rajeev Sen, showed in her Vlog how Ziana met her father recently and the two had a great time together. On the work front, the actress is soon going to be seen in a TV show and has already begun shooting for it.

Recently, the actress spoke exclusively to ETimes TV about starting anew after motherhood.

"I am happy things are changing in the industry and there are good roles for married women and moms. People are not casting someone with the mindset that she's married and has kids so she can only play motherly roles," she said.
