The Chartered Institute of Marketing has announced the addition of five new members onto its Scottish board.
Ellie Murphy, founder of Glasgow marketing consultancy Flourish Marketing, will take over as regional chair for Scotland, bringing over 20 years of experience with local and national companies to the role.
She will succeed current chair Joe Pacitti.
Joining Murphy on the CIM board is Ewan Anderson, vice chair of communications and associate marketing director at recruitment firm Eden Scott; Ralitsa Araudova, events and marketing officer at the Scottish Institute for Enterprise; Ishbel MacLeod, marketing manager at Hydrogen and Jill Davidson, project manager at Integrity International Events.
Speaking following her appointment, Murphy said: “I’m fortunate to be working with an incredible group of marketers who, like me, want to help promote the role of marketing in Scotland, support education, and provide opportunities for all our ongoing learning and development, whatever stage of our marketing career we are.”
Chris Daly, chief executive of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, added: “These latest appointments bring additional marketing expertise and new skills, creating a better experience for our Scottish members and the wider marketing community in the region.”
