Chart topping star Sia has revealed she is a grandmother after one of her sons became a first time father.
The 44-year-old Chandelier singer is proud as punch to become a granny to two bundles of joy as her family begins to expand.
Sia – whose full name is Sia Kate Isobelle Furler – is notoriously private about her personal life but sounded absolutely thrilled by the happy news.
The Australian star revealed last month that she had adopted two boys in 2019 who were out of foster care, and has now revealed one of them has become a father.
Speaking to DJ Zane Lowe on his Apple Music podcast, the singer announced: “My youngest son just had two babies.”
She then excitedly declared: “I’m a f**king grandma!”
She went on to say her two adoptive sons now refer to her as “nana”.
Last month, Sia opened up about her adoptive family during a chat on SiriusXM’s The Morning Mash Up.
She revealed: ““I actually adopted two sons last year.
“They’re both 19 years old now.”
She went on to explain the lads were struggling to cope during quarantine.
She said: “They are both finding it pretty difficult, one more so than the other.
“But they’re both doing things that are really good for them right now. They’re really doing a lot of educational stuff that’s good for them.”
