Charlton and Sunderland go head-to-head at Wembley Stadium on Sunday afternoon with a place in the Championship up for grabs.
Such a fixture will immediately evoke memories of one of the all-time great Play-Off encounters - a bonkers 4-4 tie in 1998 featuring a memorable Clive Mendonca hat-trick that eventually went down to penalties, with the Addicks holding their nerve to earn a Premier League berth for the first time.
Charlton's biggest fitness concern ahead of their first trip to the new Wembley concerns striker Igor Vetokele, who has been sidelined for a month and missed both semi-final clashes with Doncaster as the result of a lingering thigh injury.
Josh Parker will likely partner top scorer Lyle Taylor once again if Vetokele is unable to return.
“Igor is struggling, still struggling,” manager Lee Bowyer said.
“He’s going to be a doubt, we were hoping he’ll be back training today, but he’s not and it’s not looking good."
Sunderland are hopeful that Aiden McGeady will be fit to feature in the capital after sitting out the last four matches - including the semi-finals against Portsmouth - with a foot injury sustained against Accrington Stanley in April.
