Charlton Athletic have unveiled what they believe to be the UK’s first 360-degree goal footage.
The camera has been placed in front of the Covered end and allows fans to watch the action both on the pitch and in the stand, and it was first deployed during the club’s match against Fulham on Sunday.
The game saw Fulham take the lead through Ryan Tunnicliffe and Ross McCormack either side of half-time before the Charlton captain, Johnnie Jackson, on as a substitute, scored with his first touch and Jordan Cousins’ injury-time equaliser saw it finish 2-2.
It was Cousins’ dramatic header that was captured by the camera.
