Charlotte Hawkins and Kate Garraway accused of being 'hungover' on Good Morning Britain by fellow presenter

Charlotte Hawkins and Kate Garraway were accused of being 'hungover' while presenting today's episode of Good Morning Britain by a fellow co-star.

Following a fun night of partying at the 2020 Global Awards, the pair were described as appearing to be "hanging" by entertainment reporter Richard Arnold.

The VIP event in London city centre celebrates the biggest artists in music, with the two TV hosts pictured making a glitzy appearance at the awards ceremony.

Starting at 6am, 44-year-old Charlotte presented Friday's instalment alone during the first segment of the show.

After confessing to viewers she was feeling "a bit sleepy after last night" 24 minutes into presenting the show, she was accused of turning up to work hungover.

As the camera panned to a smirking Richard Arnold, he laughed as he asked the mother-of-one: "Sleepy, Charlotte...?"

Making sure not to leave Kate Garraway out, he then said: "Both you and Kate are hanging.

"I think is the term you are looking for."

Further into the show, TV anchor Ben Shepherd joked about their late night out.

With Kate and Charlotte sitting either side of him, he quipped: "You're looking very sprightly the two of you."
