Charlotte Dawson wears late dad Les's robe after labour as she plans poignant tribute

She was just a baby herself when her dad Les Dawson tragically died.

But new mum Charlotte Dawson has revealed she plans to honour her new son with a tribute within his name.

Her words came kept her father close on Wednesday night, wrapping herself in the late comic's robe as she recovered from labour in the hospital.

Posting to her Instagram Story from her hospital bed, her new son sleeping beside her, Charlotte said: "Darlings, I'm just in a massive baby bubble at the moment. I'm absolutely knackered.

"I've got my dad's dressing gown on. Cosy. Can't wait to show you all how beautiful he is."

Sharing plans to remember her dad, whose 90th birthday would have been next week, she said previously: "It is so spooky how close it is, of course Dad will be in the name somewhere - you will have to see."

According to the Daily Star, Charlotte added: "I'm filming a programme about the baby.

"There will be bits on film about the birth as I wanted to share it."

It comes after the couple hinted their newborn son's name could have a royal ring to it as new dad Matthew Sarsfield shared the first snaps of their little lad.

He posted a video captioned: "The king is here."

It showed their baby boy wearing a blue baby gro emblazoned with the name "Prince".

It's not yet known whether this is the name they've chosen for their son or just a nickname, but it looked like a huge hint.

Charlotte has already insisted she won't be leaving her son as an only child as she's desperate to have a big family.

"I think I feel the best I've ever have," she told fans in a previous Instagram Live.

"It is crazy. Being pregnant really is for me. Maybe I am going to be a baby-making machine!

"I dunno, I have genuinely absolutely loved being pregnant, it has been such a magical experience, it really really has."

The reality star added: "I used to be petrified when people say to me to come and feel their baby kick.

"But genuinely, genuinely, it is the best feeling in the whole world. I can't explain it.

"I want Matthew to feel him all the time. I get so excited when he kicks. Honestly, I have loved being pregnant."
