Charlotte Dawson says ‘people are awful’ as troll calls her son 'ugly'

Charlotte Dawson has told how vile trolls have made her cry after welcoming her first child.

The doting mum has been taken aback by the cruel words of social media users including one who had a go at her for eating chocolate spread from the jar and another who called her son Noah 'ugly.'

The 28-year-old reality TV star told New magazine that she's been trolled about her weight since giving birth to Noah in January.

"I mean, who does that to a new mum?" she asked.

“Someone had a go at me for eating Nutella because I’d had gestational diabetes when I was pregnant. I was eating it out of the jar – maybe that’s what they didn’t like?"

Charlotte, the daughter of the late comedian Les Dawson from Collyhurst, says the remark affected her confidence and she ended up having a 'little cry.'

Charlotte, who is engaged to rugby player Matt Sarsfield, previously called out a troll who called Noah 'f****** ugly.'

“I put the picture of Noah on Instagram last night and a girl who actually has quite a lot of followers on Instagram put, ‘Well you have got a f****** ugly kid’," she told the Sun.

"Wow. I publicly humiliated that girl because I think if you write that on my Instagram then I will out you.”

She added, “I have messages saying, 'I feel sorry for him that he has got you as a mum', and stuff like that. I just think, how can you be nasty to a baby? How can you say these comments? Don’t be nasty, you don’t know what is going through people’s heads.

“What is so bad about me? I am a good mum, I am trying my hardest. People are just awful.”

Charlotte has been applauded for her frank posts about motherhood on Instagram including about breast feeding and nappy changing.

Alongside a video of herself eating chocolate spread she wrote: "How’s your Thursday going... whilst Noah naps I should be doing his washing, cleaning, the house but first..."

On Mother's Day she wrote: "I was honestly so scared to be a mum, I had no idea how to change a nappy properly, and even really look after myself let alone another little human.. and I really have surprised myself.

"This little cherub has stole my heart and now I couldn’t imagine life without him... he brightens up my mornings even tho he keeps me up most the night but I can’t get angry with that little face.

"I’m so proud I’m giving him his food even tho it’s hard it’s so rewarding... he needs his mummy like I need you Noah.. forever and always I will protect and look after you."
