Charlotte Dawson praised for proudly showing off her 'tiger stripes' stretchmarks after becoming a new mum

Charlotte Dawson has been applauded as she proudly displayed her stretchmarks after becoming a mum.

A beaming Charlotte showed off her 'tiger stripes' in photos shared with her 1.2million followers on Instagram, and she was hailed an inspiration for 'keeping it real.'

Charlotte, 28, the daughter of the late comedian Les Dawson from Collyhurst, posed smiling in a lacy blue underwear set.

"Embracing my tiger chuffin stripes," she said.

"Stunning," said former The Real Housewives of Cheshire star Christine McGuinness with a love heart emoji.

"You’re stunning! Inside and out angel," praised another follower.

"It's bloody lovely to see a real woman with real stretch marks and not filtered to a inch of its life! Well done Charlie," commented another fan.

"So nice to see someone in the public eye keeping it genuinely real," said another.

Another told her: "You are the epitome of body confidence what you are doing by posting these pics is just the absolute what women need!"

Another cheered: "A REAL WOMAN!!!!!!

And another fan told the reality TV star and makeup artist: "I really hope you know how much you are so admired and appreciated for being so real, for being you.

"I love this and thank you because you’re truly helping women love themselves more and we love how real you are and also chuffin hilarious xxx"

The doting mum gave birth to baby boy Noah in January.

She recently hit back after receiving vile messages on social media, posting a cute video of Noah, her son with fiance Matt Sarsfield, blowing a raspberry on her Instagram.

She wrote: "Noah telling all the trolls to go away and if you haven’t got anything nice to say then chuff off."

She previously told how trolls made her cry including one who had a go at her for eating chocolate spread from the jar and another who called Noah 'ugly.'

She told New magazine that she's been trolled about her weight since giving birth.

"I mean, who does that to a new mum?" she asked.

“Someone had a go at me for eating Nutella because I’d had gestational diabetes when I was pregnant. I was eating it out of the jar – maybe that’s what they didn’t like?"

Charlotte said the remark affected her confidence and she ended up having a 'little cry.'

And she told the Sun that she called out a troll who called Noah 'f****** ugly.'

“I put the picture of Noah on Instagram last night and a girl who actually has quite a lot of followers on Instagram put, ‘Well you have got a f****** ugly kid’," she

"Wow. I publicly humiliated that girl because I think if you write that on my Instagram then I will out you.”
