Charlotte Dawson gives birth after having extra spicy Nando's

Reality TV star Charlotte Dawson has welcomed her first child with her fiance Matt Sarsfield.

The 28-year-old former Ex On The Beach and Celebs Go Dating star and her partner are the proud parents of a baby boy after the new mum went into labour on Tuesday morning.

Last night Charlotte, the daughter of the late Manchester comic Les Dawson, posted on her Instagram about tucking into an extra spicy Nando's meal to bring on labour.

Videoing her takeaway bag she said: "Got some spicy Nando's to get babba out."

And she said about her meal: "I am petrified I've never ever, ever had extra hot."

Matt updated followers on his Instagram with photos from the hospital and he wrote: "We're all set ready for our little man!

Matt announced the news (Charlotte Dawson/Matt Sarsfield)

"Charlotte's waters broke at 4.30am so proud of my girl @charlottedawsy she’s a trooper."

Charlotte, who was diagnosed with gestational diabetes, which is high blood sugar that develops during pregnancy, had earlier shared her concerns with followers on Instagram that she might have to be induced.

"I'm literally holding no water, I'm all baby," she said.

"I think he's too big in there and there's not enough room. He is 9lbs.

"We really need an induction because of diabetes they're worried about him not moving as much.

"His head's right down in the right position. He's just so snuggly in there."

This morning she shared a photo of herself in labour with Matt by her side.

"I did it," she wrote.

"Just in labour my darlings.

"I can't believe I did most of it at home."

And Matt broke the news of their son's arrival with the words: "Mum and baby doing well. Thanks for all messages."

Charlotte had previously revealed that she was due to give birth a week ahead of what would’ve been her father Les’s 90th birthday on February 2 and she feels the baby is a gift from the much-loved comic.

She was just eight months old when her dad, from Collyhurst, died in 1993.

Announcing the news on her pregnancy on Instagram she wrote: "I can’t even believe I’m FINALLY saying this out loud to all my fabulous followers!!!!!!! me and my @matt_sarsfield are HAVING A CHUFFIN BABAY!!!!!!

"Words cant even describe how happy and excited we are... a mini me or a mini Matthew but the most special thing of all our little angel is due exactly a week before my dads 90th birthday on the second of February!!!! Which is just so crazy and just means so much.

"Daddy I honestly feel you sent this present to us."
