Charlotte Dawson blasted by 'mum shamers' for leaving her phone charger in baby's cot

Charlotte Dawson has been forced to defend herself against 'mum shamers' after she was slammed for leaving her phone charger in her baby's cot.

The reality TV star, 28, was hit by a string of messages from people criticising her for what they called a "dangerous" move.

She had shared an Instagram post of her baby son Noah, three weeks, lying in his crib while her charger lead dangled behind him.

Charlotte, who is the daughter of late comedian Les Dawson, said the lead was "slightly" near Noah, who she shares with her fiancé Matthew Sarsfield, for a matter of minutes.

She ranted to her followers: "There have been so many messages about that video that I put on with Noah in his cot and the charger in his cot, slightly, nowhere near him because I was charging my phone literally for two minutes.

"And I went like that and then took it straight back out."

Charlotte went on: "Honestly, people need to shut up.

"I'm not stupid, like I'm not an idiot like honestly, chuff off."

The backlash came after Charlotte was praised for posting an unedited picture of her postpartum body.

She posted a pre-birth photo posing in black underwear, with one taken recently in the same outfit.

Charlotte wrote: "A few days before I gave birth vs 3 weeks tomozza post patrum pantrum.

"I miss my bumpalicious (I was a lot more glam) I don't dare put tan on now.

"I've got bags, my Bridget Jones are inside out but I'm soooo happy I've got our boyo here now..."

She continued: "I've learnt to love my tiger stripes, my stretch marks."
