Charlotte Crosby to star in new BBC Three series showing her 'real life in Sunderland'

Charlotte Crosby will give fans a look into her "real life" in a new TV show, sharing her ups and downs over the past year.

The Geordie Shore star has announced that Charlotte In Sunderland is coming to BBC Three on Wednesday, February 1. She said on Instagram: "In 2022 I let the cameras follow my life for a 1 WHOLE YEAR.

"What unfolded I couldn’t of predicted or prepared myself for. Last year changed me as a person…….Get ready to meet a whole new CHARLOTTE CROSBY. #CharlotteInSunderland coming to @bbcthree and BBC IPlayer. Wednesday the 1st of February. A @chatterbox_media production."

The series follows Charlotte, 32, in her hometown and highlights some major events in her life, including the difficult moment when she found out her mum had been diagnosed with breast cancer. During the last year, she also lost her beloved nana and was left devastated.

The programme will also show how she strengthened her relationship with her partner Jake Ankers and gave birth to her baby daughter Alba Jean Ankers, while continuing to build her fashion and lifestyle businesses.

In a video announcing the series, she said: "I'm Charlotte Crosby and you are about to see me in a way you have never seen me before. This is my real life in Sunderland, my hometown.

"It's been a hell of a year. I've expanded my business empire, I've had some heartache along the way, but I've finally found true love."

Charlotte In Sunderland starts on BBC Three on Wednesday, February 1, and will also be available on BBC iPlayer.
