In a very unlikely turn of events, Charlotte Crosby has thanked Chris Whitty for helping her new relationship go from strength to strength.
Prior to the UK being put in lockdown it was rumoured that former Geordie Shore star Charlotte had got close to Bali-based videographer Liam Beaumont after partying together in Dubai.
And, after followers had seen some flirty exchanges between the pair on Instagram, the speculation proved to be true when Sunderland lass Charlotte took the decision to move in with Liam after her moved back to the UK.
The two were also together when she turned 30 back on home turf, alongside her parents Gary and Letitia, with the pictures of them celebrating together leading to accusations that Charlotte had broke lockdown, something she denied.
Thing are clearly going well between Charlotte and Liam as they are now regulars on each other Instagram stories..
And Charlotte has credited Chris, the Government's Chief Medical Officer with having a helping hand in making things flourish.
She told The Sun On Sunday : 'We had to either move in together or not see each other.
'It was hearing the Chief Medical Officer Chris Whitty, who advised that if you want to see your boyfriend or girlfriend you have to move in — so you could say Chris made us take the leap of faith.
"Before then we’d only spent about two or three weeks together in total, so we had to make that decision right then and there, which was really scary."
