Charlotte Crosby splits from I'm A Celebrity boyfriend despite 'loving him to bits'

Charlotte Crosby has split from boyfriend Ryan Gallagher, who she met on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! Australia.

The pair had struck up a romance in the jungle but 10 Daily has confirmed that former Geordie Shore star Charlotte has put Ryan back in the friendzone after finding a relationship from across the globe would be hard to undertake.

The 29-year-old reality star has insisted that they are "still friends" and despite splitting she still "loves him to bits."

Life after the jungle and the long distance between them has been the main factors and Charlotte admitted that the "bubble popped."

Speaking to the Australian publication, Charlotte said: "When me and Ryan came out of the jungle I made no secret that I had been in a very long relationship and I wasn't ready to jump into another one."

She also admitted that a serious romance was not really where she was at, for the time being anyway.

Charlotte continued: "I still wasn't looking for something serious, he's at a stage in his life where he is - so we came to a mutual decision that we'd just cool it off."

The reality star is now looking to be single for the rest of the year, so that she can "fall in love with herself".

She added: "I just need to have that time on my own where I'm not worried about anyone else. I want to be really selfish for one year!"

It was believed that the I'm A Celeb star had jetted back Down Under to hook up with Ryan for Valentine's Day.

This proved wide of the mark as she Melbourne soon.

On Friday last week, Charlotte jetted to Australia, presumably to reunite with Ryan for Valentine's Day.

However, she was seen enjoying a cocktail with YouTuber Tanya Hennessy instead, and Ryan was nowhere to be seen.

I'm A Celeb campmate Miguel Maestre and his family also met Charlotte in Syndey at the weekend.

Chatlotte had previously gushed to OK! magazine about Ryan that she wanted "to marry him and have his babies!'

It would appear that those feelings have changed.
