Charlotte Crosby says she will give birth on camera for new reality TV show

Charlotte Crosby has told fans she will be giving birth on camera as part of her new TV show.

The reality star is currently pregnant with her first child with boyfriend Jake Ankers and the couple have been enjoying a babymoon together. Speaking about the birth during their trip, Charlotte opened up about what fans can expect.

Lying in a bath tub before heading out for dinner, the 32-year-old showed off her blossoming baby bump as she invited fans to ask her questions in an Instagram Q&A.

One fan asked: "Will you be vlogging your birth?"

Charlotte responded: "Even better it's gonna be on TV."

The former Geordie Shore star has been busy making a new TV show which follows her preparations for motherhood. The 10-part reality show will air on the BBC and will offer a behind-the-scenes look at Charlotte's life in Wearside.

The BBC Three series, called Charlotte in Sunderland, will take viewers to her hometown and aims to showcase everything that’s good about the North-East.

"I am beyond excited to be bringing my crazy life, my business ventures, much loved family, future hubby and my precious bump to the BBC," she told The Sun.

Bosses behind the show said it will provide an "honest and surprising lens on the multi-faceted world of Charlotte."

Charlotte revealed in April that she was pregnant, with her and Jake recently finding out they are expecting a baby girl. They announced the baby's gender at the Vermont Hotel's rooftop bar with the help of an aeroplane.

Charlotte took to Instagram Live to broadcast the reveal.

An plane circled the rooftop venue to write a large letter G in the sky, indicating the sex of the baby. "It's a girl!" Charlotte excitedly yelled, as pink confetti cannons also filled the air.

Jake and Charlotte then hugged and screamed with excitement. Reacting to the news, her mum Letitia sweetly said: "I'm just so pleased it's a girl, she always gets what she wants!"

Charlotte had previously shared her fears that she might never become a mother, following her traumatic ectopic pregnancy with former boyfriend Gaz Beadle in 2016.

Speaking on Geordie Shore: Their Story, Charlotte said: "I was literally on the verge of dying. If I'd left it any longer I just wouldn’t be here."

She added: "I had my right fallopian tube and ovary taken away. Straight away I just thought, 'F**k I’m not gonna be able to have kids', like, this is awful."
